What Commercial Insurance Leads Are

· Reviewed by Hyder Shah, Founder of InsureLeads

Commercial insurance leads are business owners who asked for a quote on commercial coverage. We build each campaign for the states and lines you write, and every lead goes to one agency only: $110 for an exclusive real-time web lead, $150 contact-verified and $225 per interest-verified live transfer.

This page covers small-business property and casualty lines. Motor carriers are a different buyer with different filings, so trucking has its own program: commercial truck insurance leads, with exclusive trucking leads for agents who want single-buyer trucking data.

What Commercial Insurance Leads Cost

FormatPriceTerms
Exclusive real-time web lead$110Sold to one agent and never resold
Contact-verified lead$150Phone number and stated interest confirmed by a person
Interest-verified live transfer$225Per connected call; screened for interest, not underwritten

These prices are the Commercial Truck row of our rate card. Fresh orders launch at $2,500: a $1,000 setup fee plus $1,500 of lead credit, because each order is a campaign built for one buyer. Live transfers launch at $3,000. There is no long-term contract.

Commercial Lines You Can Order

Order one line or several, and route each lead to the producer who writes that line. The last column is the question to ask on the first call.

The Small-Business Market

The SBA Office of Advocacy counts 36,207,130 small businesses in the United States, employing 62.3 million people, or 45.9 percent of private-sector workers (SBA Advocacy, February 2026).

Texas is the exception to plan for. There, private employers can choose whether to provide workers’ compensation coverage, and those that opt out are called non-subscribers (Texas Department of Insurance). The department’s research group described Texas as the only state that gives private employers of any size or industry that option (TDI, 2012). If you write in Texas, ask whether the business is a subscriber before you quote.

How Commercial Insurance Leads Are Generated

InsureLeads generates leads through organic search on our own insurance content and through managed paid search and social campaigns run for each client. Business owners submit their own details on our landing pages, where TCPA consent is captured with a TrustedForm or Jornaya certificate. We do not buy exclusive leads from third-party data brokers.

Because no fresh lead exists until a campaign is built, every order starts with your states and lines; how it works walks through the launch, and how we source leads sets out each channel and the checks every lead passes. Comparing vendors first? Our guide to the best insurance lead providers lists the questions to ask each one.

No. Motor carriers buy a different program (primary liability, cargo and the federal filings), so trucking has its own pages, starting with commercial truck insurance leads. Order there if you write for-hire trucking.

Yes, as one of the commercial lines you can order. In Texas, private employers can choose whether to carry workers' compensation, so ask a Texas prospect whether they carry it today before you quote.

Yes. Exclusive web leads, contact-verified leads and live transfers each go to a single buyer and are never resold. See how we source leads for the checks every lead passes before delivery.
